The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the LCFF. Under the LCFF all LEAs are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities. There are eight state priorities: 1) Student Achievement, 2) Student Engagement, 3) Student Outcomes, 4) School Climate, 5) Parent Involvement, 6) Basic Services, 7) Implementation of Common Core State Standards, and 8) Course Access.
Washington Colony Elementary School District has engaged stakeholders in all aspects of planning and development of the LCAP. On-line LCAP surveys were also made available to elicit broad-based feedback from certificated and classified staff and parent and community members. Stakeholder groups have contributed to the plan. A copy of the 2015/2016 LCAP Summary can be found under “Quick Links.”
